Reminder of our History & Longevity
I sometimes tend to forget that for people new to our business, might not realise our history and longevity, so here is a recap.
Stuart Thomson was the founder and principal researcher of the Gaia Research Institute in the 1990s along with his wife Lettie Thomson. Don’t forget this research was done long before Google ever existed and Stuart spent hours, days, weeks and years, pouring over hundreds of books and journals researching the value of organic produce, green tea, oxygen therapy as well as the benefits of certain ingredients for the skin.
Brand Gaia Organics began supplying the first ‘original’ health stores in South Africa, such as Field’s in Kloof St. Cape Town, Health Fayre in Rondebosch, The Good Stuff in Claremont, Health Matters in Sea Point, and Fruits & Roots in Johannesburg, to name a few.
Today, original formulations are still intact, although new products have been added over the years as the company continues to evolve and innovate.
Claudia Henderson is the manufacturer, along with her son Jethro, Gaia Organics is now a 3rd generation family business based at 24 Seaside Longships, Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.
